About The Project
The client needed 200 sets of precision-machined aluminum enclosures for marine boat adaptors. Demanding corrosion resistance and a clean finish were the primary requirements for this saltwater application.
The client required 200 sets of a milled aluminum case, anodized and fully-finished but not too expensive.

PROTOTYPE PRODUCTION
The enclosure profiles were machined on a 3-axis CNC milling center. Tight tolerances were maintained to ensure the lid and base seated perfectly, providing a watertight seal when assembled.
Hard anodizing was applied to increase surface hardness and provide excellent corrosion resistance in marine environments. The anodized layer also gives the parts an attractive, professional appearance.
